We are dedicated to providing professional eyecare in a friendly and caring atmosphere.  Eye glass prescriptions are always offered with each eye exam and our contact lenses are competitively priced. We are able to offer direct billing for Alberta Health Care, Alberta Blue Cross, Manulife, Green Shield, Great-West Life, Desjardins, Standard Life, and Sun Life.

WHO WE ARE

Dr. Chrissy Hines grew up in Maple Ridge, BC and moved to Alberta to attend the University of Calgary. Falling in love with Calgary, she decided to return after completing her Doctor of Optometry degree with Highest Honours from Western University where she graduated as Class Salutatorian.

Dr. Hines enjoys working with patients of all ages and needs. Her clinical externships took her all over the United States including Florida, Washington, Colorado and Wyoming. These opportunities provided a wide breadth of experience treating ocular disease, co-managing LASIK surgery, and diagnosing and treating eye teaming issues with vision therapy and neuro-optometric rehabilitation.

Outside the office, Dr. Hines is a huge basketball fan. Dr. Hines fills her spare time coaching basketball in the community. She also likes to stay active whether its playing basketball, training for marathons, or taking advantage of Alberta’s gorgeous hiking trails.
